I am very pleased to hear from you, dear, of the fervour with which you made the novena of the Nativity of our Lady. I desire ardently that all of us be reborn to a perfect life to imitate the One who was holy as soon as she appeared in the world. I remind you also that the Feast of our Lady of Sorrows is at hand; this being really our feast, I immagine that you will make it with equal, or rather with more fervour. Because if you have done so much for Her birthday you will do more to console our afflicted Mother in Her sorrows.
